Delurking day: Come out and say hi!

Apparently, it’s Delurking Day. WHAT?

I know there are more readers of this blog who are quiet. Then there are those who leave comments (thank you very much). I totally get the silent readers. You come to read, liked/disliked what you read but still don’t say anything. I do that too. I lurk at other blogs (mostly because of lack of time to hit the comments button, etc).

But today is Delurking Day, time to come out and say hi.

I would love to interact with my readers so today, just today, I’m requesting my silent readers to leave a comment. Can’t be that hard. Just say, “Hi, I’m (your name) and reading from (your place).” I would love to know where my blog is read!

You could also tell me more about yourself if you like AND how you found my blog.

So if you have not commented on Sandier Pastures ever, why not do it today?

It’s funny that my blog is based in Dubai but most who leave comments are my blog readers from outside UAE!

  5. Yes, I am one of the lurkers….. I live in the U.S. and the reason
I found your blog was that I had a new co-worker at the time, about a year and a half ago that used to be a soldier in Iraq and then was working for a private fuel company in Iraq. Well he talked about his travels and also how he met his Phillipino wife while visiting in Dubai. I thought it was interesting, since I have never travel, and did a google search on Dubai and somehow found your blog and have been reading it ever since. I love hearing your observations of Dubai and seeing the pictures. It has opened my eyes to what it is like to live in other countries. Thank you so much for letting me lurk from here in Washington State, America.
