Welcome our new angel, Benjamin Kazuki

It was a difficult delivery but my new son compensated me so much after by being such a good baby who lets me sleep for three hours straight and allows me long fifteen minute showers. He only cries when he is wet or hungry.

Each pregnancy and child birth is truly different and I know now that this is true.

While I couldn’t forget what happened on those painful days in October, where I labored for 45 hours and still ended up having an emergency c-section, I am just glad, happy, thankful that I got a wonderful gift in the end.

I love you, Benjamin Kazuki. You, together with your sister and dad,Β  light up my life.

  1. Congratulations! It usually takes 6 months for a woman’s body to fully recover after giving birth, all I can say is that you’ll be all set for Christmas! Stay healthy and enjoy your new blessing. πŸ™‚

  2. Grace, you are not at all “partial,” he is absolutely GORGEOUS!!
He has the most beautiful little nose and soft skin. I bet he even smells perfect. =)
I love his first name, I wanted to name one of my boys Benjamin, but their father didn’t agree. May I ask what the name Kazuki means, it is so lovely. Is it a family name? It sounds like such a strong name, I know he will be a great man some day.
    Congratulations again!

You will forget the Csection. I forgot mine. Then again I didn’t think it was such a big deal, maybe because they are so common here (for good and/or bad) and not considered a reflection of some failing on the mother’s part. I accepted that was the best thing for the health and survival of my son and so will you.
